Overview

The Short URL feature enables users to generate concise and secure links that redirect to longer destination URLs. Designed with simplicity and control in mind, this feature supports two key modes: Redirection and File Sharing.

  • Redirection Mode allows users to shorten valid destination URLs ending with .gov.bn or .com.bn, making links more manageable and easier to share.

  • File Sharing Mode enables users to upload files and generate secure short links for file distribution. Optional password protection enhances security for sensitive file transfers.

Additional functionalities include:

  • Custom URL Names – Create memorable and branded short links.

  • Expiration Date – Configure links to automatically expire on a specified date.

  • QR Code Generation – Instantly generate scannable QR codes for each short URL.

  • Analytics Dashboard – Monitor link performance, including visit count, geographical location, and referrer data.

This feature is ideal for government agencies, businesses, and institutions looking to maintain a professional digital presence while simplifying URL management.
